Last week #JnlEntertainment helped the #YouthHostelAssociation national awards ceremony go with a bang, with music and dance continuing until the early hours.
Each year the #YHA recognise the achievements of their own staff with an awards ceremony, and this year, for the third year running Jnl Entertainment were asked to provide the evening's entertainment for the event.
Although the event itself was held during the evening of the 26th, the setup started the day before, when all the equipment for a Jnl Entertainments live event was moved into the #YHACardiff building, and once the stage area had been constructed by #StageSoundServices, we got our equipment set up and tested.
On the evening of the event itself, and once the awards themselves had been made, the eclectic mix of beats, strings, and brass soon had everyone on their feet and dancing as #OrchestralBeats took the stage by storm. While #DJHoarez worked his magic on the decks, the members of Orchestral Beats, which includes #MattPearce on saxophone and the #LunarEnsemble on strings, seduced the crowd with their skillful playing, perfectly complementing DJ Hoarez's amazing remixes of songs such as "Freed From Desire" by Gala, and "Symphony" by Clean Bandit. Vocals were provided by the super-talented #LorenElizabeth and #AndyHicks.
After Orchestral Beats had firmly established the bar, and got everyone up and dancing, DJ Hoarez made sure to raise that bar as the party atmosphere continued with a splendid set of dance favourites guaranteed to get any corporate social event up and shaking. Ibiza classics were the order of the day, and hardly a soul was left sitting down as the party-goers took to the floor, soaking up the fun and music from the decks of DJ Hoarez.
